A place you can count on.

The Village Inn.
It almost feels like coming home.
When I was young, my Aunt Tonya would sneak into our house,
and wake us up at 12:00am on the night of our birthdays--
then she'd take us to Village Inn for a midnight feast.
Those were some of my best memories.

Nowadays, we'll sometimes go on a Saturday morning
when I'm in the mood for their fruit and nut multi-grain pancakes,
and Kelly has to have an ultimate skillet...

And we've also discovered that they serve
the best fish and chips on this side of the Great Salt Lake.

But there are times..
oh yes there are...

when you've just gotta have a slice of pie.
Well you can count on them for that too.
We had to get a few to share.
Gram even convinced Pearl to try the Pumpkin pie--
which is her new favorite.
 And Violet liked them all.
 We got our pie fix--
our need was filled... so we left.
Thanks for everything V.I. and stay classy.

Until next time...

Village Inn! I love their multi-grain pancakes too but sometimes you just need a piece of pie :)
