Elevated Films

Kelly and I have have had a little filming business on the side
 for about five years now.
We've done mostly wedding videos, and events, and life story slide-shows.
It's been something that we've loved to do, but with Kelly working full time,
we haven't been able to put in the time and effort that we would have liked.

A few months ago we were on a date,
and started talking about how we should just
take the plunge and make it our full-time business.
I'll never forget planning our family business over dinner, at a table for two.
The decision was made on a Friday night, and by Monday night,
we had three weddings booked.  We hadn't posted any advertising,
or mentioned our plans to anyone--
so it really felt like a reassuring push for us to go through with it.

Kelly gave his notice at work... put in his last workday in August--
and our new full-time business was born.
It has been a lot of work, but great to be doing something we love--
and so much fun to spend time together as a family,
right in the middle of our workday.

The way it has gone up until now, is that Kelly has does the filming,
and I've done all of the editing--
but he is now doing a lot of the editing as well.

I think we make a pretty darn good team.
We're excited for the future, and feel really blessed.

Here are some of our recent projects we have worked on:

Hope Kids Princess Party.
Linsey Holley, who gets to dress up as Cinderella for a living--
invited children with Cancer, and other life-threatening illnesses
to her "castle" for a Royal Ball.
Don't you love when people do really good things for other people?
Kel said the event was incredible.

Salt Lake Temple
This is Kelly's darling cousin MacKenzie and her husband Andrew.
There are from Moses Lake, Washington, but were married here
at the Salt Lake Temple. We were honored to film their wedding.
It was such a beautiful day.

Tyler and Tara.
Tyler has been a dear friend of ours for years,
and we are so happy he found Tara.

T + T - Backyard Reception

A Day in the Life
I'm really excited about this new service we offer.
We spend a couple of hours with your family at home,
at the zoo, the park, or any other outing you love to take as a family.
We went to Wheeler Farms with the Gilvear family, and had a ball
acting like a couple of flys on the wall watching this sweet family together.

We have a few more things in the works that we're excited about.
I'll keep you posted here, and you can also stay up to date
by liking our facebook page and checking out elevatedfilms.com

Keep us in mind, and spread the word!
We want to keep doing this forever :)

You and Kelly do such great work! Your films are a priceless treasure. I really regret that we didn't take more family videos . . . we only seemed to get the camera out every Christmas morning :)
