Ode to October

You know it's October when...
A care package stuffed with Autumn themed books,
toys and goodies makes it's way from Long Beach, CA
{thanks Nana :)}
And then you'll be asked by a 4 year old,
and scorned with a demanding "boo!" by a 1 year old,
 to read those autumn-y books
a lot of times-- because they are really cute,
 and get you in a fall-y kind of mood.

You know it's October when:
You eat a stack of hot pancakes
while you watch another session of conference
 come and go before your eyes
leaving everyone inspired and uplifted in it's wake.
{even Scarlet was edified}
And Gritz was just plain cute while basking in the sun.

Welcome October.

Things to do in October:
celebrate Kelly's birth
watch the leaves change colors
visit a pumpkin patch
carve pumpkins from pumpkin patch
listen to old spooky radio stories
pull out cardigans
watch {at least a few of} the following movies:
Hocus Pocus
Corpse Bride
The Legend of Sleepy Hollow
Little Shop of Horrors
Edward Scissorhands
Practical Magic

I love this month!!! it starts getting cooler, yet there is such a special smell in the air of autumn! what a great idea to give your little doggies some religion! ( smile )

I hope Pearl is feeling better.

I Love Cafe Rio, can you mail me some?
