Weekend BBQ

This is Jason and Lacee Locke.
So cute, right?
Lacee is a good friend who went to school with Kelly and I.
I also worked for her Mom at Tahari Day Spa.
Jason and Lacee got married in Monterey California--
which would be my dream living location...
but that's beside the point.

So here's where it gets a little "small-worldish."

Jason and Lacee Locke buy a house in Pleasant Grove,
and become neighbors with
The Tyler and Erin Miller Family.
{again-- so cute.}
This is "small-worldish" because
Tyler Miller was Kelly's dearest mission companion.
He even sent his parents to our wedding in his place
while he was still out in the mission field.
When Kelly and Tyler get together,
they are one loud duo.

We've been trying to plan a dinner
ever since we learned of the mutual friendship.

Leave it up to Lacee to make it happen.
She had us all over to her darling house for a barbecue.
We could smell delicious food cooking as soon as we pulled into the neighborhood,
and we were glad to find out it was coming from her place.

Pearl was full on flirting with Tyler's boy Ethan.
I heard her tell him that she was cold.
He was back in a flash,
bringing her his hooded sweatshirt.
She has good taste--
Ethan recently modeled for
a Pottery Barn catalog.
Way to set high standards Pearly girl ;)

Let's not forget about their other boy Quinten.
He is one cute little stinker.
He was basically getting into trouble the whole time.

We had the best time catching up with everyone.
We probably could have used a few more hours to do so,
but Violet was TIRED so we called it a night.

That just means we'll have to do it again soon :)

WOW - What a fun time!!

Seeing Elder Miller again brings back a lot of memories from Elder Jewkes' missionary letters!

Kent will probably be jealous when he sees Kelly with another man!
