Easter

Pearl gave the closing prayer in primary today.
She walked right up to the microphone,
and delivered the sweetest Easter prayer I've ever heard.
{With a little help from Sister Zeziger.}
Aunt Shelly came to watch,
and Pearl was so excited about that.
 She was so proud of herself--
and so was I.

We came home and found that the
Easter Bunny paid a visit while we were at church.
Thanks for the dresses Nana!
They were a hit.
Violet had a death grip on that chocolate bunny of hers.
In fact...
She didn't put that bunny down until it was replaced with a bottle,
and a pair of footie pj's.
 She napped through our Easter feast.
We had:
ham, mashed potatoes, asparagus, green salad, and rolls.
{Oh, and mac and cheese for Pearl.}
 We sat around the table and talked and ate for a couple of hours.
When Pearl's head started drooping down,
We excused her from the table to rest--
before her face landed in her plate.
Favorite part of the day?
When Pearl's prayer said
"We're thankful for our Savior."
It was so sweet.

Isn't that just amazing how these little spirits know WHO they are talking to when they pray?

Proud of you Pearl, what a great big sunbeam achievement saying the prayer in primary!!

The "sisters" Easter parade is beautiful - such pretty Spring dresses!
