Christmas Eve Day at the Aquarium

Christmas Eve at the Aquarium of the Pacific,
on a warm sunny day?
Yes, please.

The Aquarium had little pools outside with stingrays,
starfish, and snails that you could touch.
Pearl loved the starfish.

There was also an atrium with birds,
which might have been my favorite part.
They were so colorful and friendly.
A little too friendly for Pearl...
A bird landed on her head as soon as we walked in,
and she was outta there.

If you wanted, they would give you a cup of nectar
to make the birds to come to you.
Kelly had no cup of nectar,
but attracted many birds.

Toward the end,
he held the nectar and had 5 birds on him at once.

We were all covered in birds,
and not to brag--
but a lot of other peeps were trying to get birds to come to them,
but they were solely flocking to us.
Cristy got pooped on.
The worker explained that their poop wasn't gross
because they're on a liquid only diet.
Oh-- okay...

I love this picture of Sam.
She is the biggest animal lover you'll ever meet,
and she didn't know Johnny was taking this picture.

Inside we saw tank after tank of beautiful creatures,
and watched Brittany the Sea Lion show us her tricks.

We came outside to blue skies and palm trees.
It didn't feel like Christmas Eve yet--
but it did soon after.

More Christmas reporting to come tomorrow...
