the 4th (but really the 3rd)

Our Fourth of July festivities kicked off with the West Bountiful parade.
Watching the parade with the Lindsey's made it even better.
Pearl wants to be just like her older cousins.
The Lindsey girls are so cool.
The Great Clips balloons were a huge hit.
I love you Maegan.

Pearl loved the parade,
but she was ready to get inside the house.
She likes her life to be low key,
and air conditioned.
I love how Pearl always gets down on Violet's level to play with her.
She gets right in her face, and Violet loves it.
Pearl always gets her smiling.
Such a cute little twirly bum.
Thanks for the dresses Matt and Mal!
We love them.

The middle portion of our day consisted of Pearl and Violet spending time with Gram,
while Kelly and I packed up our house.
It's true, we're moving again.
This will be our 5th move in 5 years.
You can call us the nomadic family.
This time we're going back to my old stomping grounds.
We'll be moving into my parents house while they're on their mission.
Pearl is used to going to Papa and Nana's and being waited on hand and foot.
Always spouting out demands.
"Mari make me noodles."
"Nana push me in the swing."
"Papa come chase me!"
Let's see how long it takes her to realize this is home now.
Let's face it-- home is not Nana's house, and home can get boring pretty dang quick.

Our plan was to watch fireworks at Tyler and Amber's.
Their backyard offers front row seats to Davis High's firework show.
We lost track of time, and by the time we came to a good stopping point with the packing,
picked up the girls, changed their clothes and loaded everyone in the car--
we realized we would get there too late.
So we grabbed some snaps and sparklers and made a show of our own.
Pearl was having so much fun.
She was squealing with excitement.
Violet was just content to watch her big sis.
After lighting 8 boxes worth of sparklers for Pearl,
Kelly definitely earned that kiss.

God bless America!

That will be fun to move back into your old house! Sparklers are always their favorite part anyway. Looks like they had a great day.
